Most tour books say that you should go to nature preserve to see koalas. While we were in Lord Howe Island, we were lucky enough to befriend some people from Melbourne who told us we could find them at Sausage Gulley off the Great Ocean Road. Sure enough, while we drove down the coast, Kiera looked in the trees when we got in the area, and there they were!
